Going Home - Rio Viejo, Puriscal |
About two years ago, a book editor contacted me out of the blue with an exciting request: they wanted to use one of my photos on the cover of a book. Not just any book, but one about a fascinating lizard species native to my corner of the world—Anolis robinsoni, a type of anole found in Costa Rica. I was thrilled, not only because they liked my photo enough to feature it, but also because they took the time to ask for my permission. It’s a small gesture that means a lot to photographers like me. I happily agreed, and now I’m proud to see my work on the cover of The Natural History of Anolis robinsoni of Costa Rica. You can check out the book on Amazon here.
